The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys: Sweden – Channel 5
As the main shooting producer director for this series I worked tirelessly, travelling across more than 1000 km of Sweden, following the passengers and staff on a wonderful train – and people who live and work along the route. The episode was shot using a reliable old FS-7 and a selection of action cameras. Flying into Sarek National Park with a Sami reindeer herder is without a doubt a highlight of my time in Sweden so far.
Hijacked – Channel 5 / Apple TV+
I produced, directed and filmed all of the master interviews and dramatic reconstruction for this intense series about some of the most incredible hijacks the world has ever seen. This episode covered the Dawson’s Field hijackings carried out by the PFLP in the 1970’s. They were a truly audacious act – and ultimately the spark that led to Black September.
Ambulance – BBC ONE
A scene from the multi award winning international hit series Ambulance that I filmed for BBC1 prime time. Working with the emergency services leaves no margin for error, there are no second chances, you have to be quick on your feet and quick with the equipment if you want to capture great footage that tells the best story. Camerata Nordica – Live multi camera recording and edit. One of Scandinavia’s foremost chamber orchestras commissioned me to produce a series of videos for them. This recording was made in a single multi camera take. I also edited the final video adding a layer of visual finesse to the beautiful performance.
