DoP, Shooting Producer Director & Edit Producer

I have over 20 years’ experience working across premium factual, documentary, reality and factual entertainment programming for international broadcasters including the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, Discovery and Netflix.

I combine strong visual storytelling with sound editorial judgement and a calm, confident approach to working both in the field and in the edit. I have contributed to productions recognised with BAFTA, RTS and Grierson awards, and am comfortable working across the full production process, from research and development through pre-production, filming, story development, scripting, edit producing and online. I am particularly strong at finding the heart of a story, making editorial decisions under pressure and building trust with contributors in front of the camera.

I own a comprehensive self-shooting kit, including Sony FX6, lighting, grip and sound, and am experienced in delivering broadcast-quality material as part of small crews, in unpredictable environments and under significant time pressure.

My experience spans documentary, reality and factual entertainment, with a career-long focus on editorial and production quality. This has contributed to strong ratings and repeat commissions, and has given me a broad understanding of the entire production chain, from development and access through filming, story structure, scripting, edit and final delivery.

Above all, I genuinely love the industry and the craft of making television. I enjoy the process of turning an idea into something that works on screen, whether that means finding the right shot, shaping a story in the edit or simply making things happen when circumstances change. I bring that enthusiasm, curiosity and commitment to every project I work on.
